Sometimes, we as young people don't get a proper insight into other types of education. We are constantly taught the same things year in and year out. Rarely is the Harlem Renaissance or the Buffalo Soldiers emphasized in schools. Yet ask any child and they will be able to tell you about George Washington and Martin Luther King Jr. Not that they aren't important, but how are we to expand our horizons without getting a broader perspective? With that said, this page is dedicated to that purpose. Each month there will be something new on this page to tempt your taste buds. AND if you find yourself hungry for more you can go to your local library and edumacate yourself! ;)
